Jan 29 - Nonstop Worship

How can I keep from shouting your name?
How can I ever say enough,
How amazing is your Love

Nonstop worship, its our purpose, calling, and sacrifice to God. The psalmist says,

Send forth your light and your truth,
let them guide me;
let them bring me to your holy mountain,
to the place where you dwell.
Then will I go to the altar of God,
to God, my joy and my delight.
I will praise you with the harp,
O God, my God.
Why are you downcast, O my soul?
Why so disturbed within me?
Put your hope in God,
for I will yet praise him,
my Savior and my God.

Our prayer this morning was that we would be able to totally enter into whole-hearted worship for God the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. We meditated on the goodness of his works, worshiped his holy name, and cried out that a deep song of praise would stir within us. Deep love songs pouring out in excess from our hearts.

We sang and praised non-stop for two and a half hours. I’m telling you the truth when I’m saying it felt like fifteen minutes. I was late for work as a result. But the presence of God was so think and sweet. He was demanding his worship from us. And it felt so good to let it flow out with no consideration for time or commitments.

When I got to work Laura sent me a text message that Annabelle was dancing around the house singing “Jesus, Jesus” (To the tune of Friend Forever by Delirious). Truly from the lips of children and infants you have ordained praise. The goodness of the Lord is so good. It is spilling out from our time in prayer to the whole community.

Be Blessed
